The drive from Boise is about an 1 1/2 hours and well worth the drive.
Well its been a few weeks since I wrote, I did not realize it had been that long. Time flies when your having fun I guess. Shawn and I finished up the HCG diet, we did not get to do the 40 days as we would have liked since we ran out of the drops. Shawn lost 15 pounds while I lost 25 pounds…. WOOOWHOO. I have changed my diet to include a good sized breakfast and a pretty good lunch. For dinner, I have decided to just have a good bowl of cereal and then eat a small snake later in the evening. I have also been doing some workingout with some weights and getting on the treadmill. I went from a size 36 pair of jeans to fitting in some of my old 32's, so I am pretty happy about that.
Rick and I took a nice day trip out to Leslie Gulch and did a fair amount of hicking up and down some of the draws that head up in to the hills. We both returned with some pretty good photos of the area. I would say that they were some of the best shots I took from the 3 trips we have taken there. It was a day well spent.
I also went on a photo shoot with the HP Photo Club to the Old Boise Penitentiary. Rod, Colleen Rick and I all met there at noon and found severl other from the club there. We all did a little chatting and a bunch of shooting. I have been there probably 4 times and so after a while you wonder what different things you will shoot. Turns out that I could go back yet another time and find more to shoot, a date for another time.
