It has been a rather busy week at work, I am glad its over. Its friday night, Shawn and I invited Allen & Debbie over for some cards. We usually play some baseball or Pinochle late into the evening. Its always fun to hang out with them, they are good peeps.
Rick and I are going shooting tomorrow out in the owyhee's, up towards Jump Creek. We are going to try and walk in that gorge we found last weekend. We end up trying a different road to find the upper part of Jump Creek….. won't know until we get there which direction to head. It is supposed to be cold and windy tomorrow so that should be fun. We are supposed to get rain overnight and they say it should clear out by sunrise, we shall see.
I submitted 5 photos today at work, they pick several peoples photos to hang in the Lobby and then vote on a monthly best photos. I got picked last month for a picture of a flower that I submitted. Then at years end they will take all the monthly winners and hang those photos and vote for photo of the year. Should be interesting, I have never been in a photo type contest before.. its kind of exciting. I have had 6 photos in the lobby out of 7 trying, so thats pretty good.
The photo lobby thing got me started thinking about changing my featured monthly photographer over to something a wee bit easier, like photo of the week. Rick showed me a blog the other day that someone did this with, and I thought that would be easier then the monthly photographer.. I was thinking before seeing that blog of just a photograph of the month, but I like the weekly idea a little more. I will think on this some more and have something decided soon.
